Founded in 2006, the EOG Association for Conservation is an initiative from the European outdoor industry with the objective of protecting wild areas that we care so passionately about. The outdoor industry recognises that preserving and protecting the natural environment is a core necessity and raises funds from within the industry to support direct projects. This group is designed to harness the incredible power of our industry and to raise money to donate to grass roots conservation groups.

B.A.U.M. was founded in 1984 by a group of German entrepreneurs who wanted to support each other implementing environmental management within their companies. Since then, more than 500 companies as well as non-profit organisations, institutions and individuals alike, have become members of B.A.U.M. Today B.A.U.M. is the European business community's largest environmental initiative. B.A.U.M. is registered as an association and recognised as a non-profit organisation. Its German acronym, "B.A.U.M." means "tree", and the interrelationship of the company's name and the meaning of the acronym symbolises, just as the cogwheel and the tree of the B.A.U.M. logo, that business and nature have to be linked.
